The SUSENT Project successfully carried out its Learning, Teaching, and Training (LTT) activity in Malmö, Sweden. Hosted by our Swedish project partners, the training brought together participants from across Sweden, Turkey, Belgium, and Austria for an engaging and practical exploration of sustainable entrepreneurship through the lens of handmade cosmetics.
Over the course of the activity, participants took part in a dynamic programme combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience. The training covered a wide range of topics, including the basics of natural product formulation, eco-conscious production practices, and sustainable business models within the handmade cosmetics sector.
Workshops focused on:
- The creation of handmade products such as natural soaps, lip balms, and body scrubs
- Understanding ingredients, production processes, and packaging aligned with environmental sustainability
- Branding, product safety, and small business development in the cosmetics field
Participants also had the opportunity to learn from local entrepreneurs, gaining insight into how small-scale businesses are established and managed in the Swedish context. Site visits and discussions with professionals working in natural cosmetics and sustainability further enriched the experience.
Beyond technical knowledge, the activity encouraged international exchange and cooperation, allowing participants to share experiences, explore new ideas, and build lasting connections.
This LTT marks an important step in the SUSENT project’s mission to promote sustainable entrepreneurship among young people and educators. The knowledge and tools gained in Malmö will contribute to the development of educational resources and training materials that will be made available to a broader audience in the coming months.
